All 22 Pokémon Fantasy Draft cheat sheet
In the game's Fantasy Draft you and up to five friends snake-draft 22 Pokémon each, then the server plays a season. The draft room shows base stats but not how well each Pokémon fits a spot. This page ranks the pool by what a pick adds to your team, and tracks your draft as it happens.

Keep this open in another tab while you draft. Mark your picks and everyone else's; the board re-ranks for the spots you still have open. Saved on this device.

How the ranking works
Each Pokémon is scored at every spot you still have open: its position fit minus the fit of the best Pokémon likely to still be there once every team has filled that spot (the replacement), times how much the spot counts toward the Team Score. Edge is the first part: how many fit points the pick beats the replacement by. A quarterback counts for 24% of the offense, so a small edge there can still beat a big one at fullback.
It doesn't cover the kicker, and it assumes the other teams fill spots the way you do. When the draft is over, paste your team into the team rater for its Team Score and the best arrangement.
Which positions run out first
Kanto pool, 4 teams, 3-4 defense and fullback offense, Legendaries on. The fit of the best Pokémon at each position against the last one who would start if every team took the best left there.
| Position | Starters needed | Best | Last starter | Drop |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| OL Offensive line | 20 | 82.2 | 58.9 | −23.3 |
| QB Quarterback | 4 | 88.9 | 70.1 | −18.8 |
| WR Wide receiver | 8 | 91.1 | 72.9 | −18.2 |
| S Safety | 8 | 80.8 | 65.7 | −15.1 |
| CB Cornerback | 8 | 81.7 | 68.2 | −13.5 |
| DE Defensive end | 8 | 78.8 | 65.9 | −12.9 |
| OLB Outside linebacker | 8 | 76.9 | 65.1 | −11.9 |
| HB Halfback | 4 | 80.2 | 69.4 | −10.8 |
| NT Nose tackle | 4 | 83.7 | 74.9 | −8.8 |
| FB Fullback | 4 | 84.7 | 75.9 | −8.7 |
| ILB Inside linebacker | 8 | 70.7 | 64.1 | −6.7 |
| TE Tight end | 4 | 75.6 | 71.9 | −3.7 |
The offensive line needs 20 starters in a 4-team league and there are only a handful of heavy Pokémon in Kanto, so the line falls off fastest. That's why Golem goes 2nd on the Kanto board: a good lineman is gone long before a good receiver is. In bigger pools the drop is smaller and the board leans back toward quarterback and corner.

How the Fantasy Draft works
- 3 to 6 teams; empty seats can be filled with computer teams. The draft order is random or set by the host, and goes snake style: the last pick of a round picks first in the next.
- Pools: Kanto (the original 151, the default), Retro (Gen 1–4), Wild (all 1,025) or a single generation. Legendaries are on by default, and the host can add a kicker spot.
- Each pick goes into a spot on your field. Each team picks its own defense (3-4 or 4-3) and offense (fullback or slot).
- Pick timer 30, 60 or 90 seconds, or off. Miss two picks in a row and the computer picks for you.
- After the draft every team plays every other team twice, and the top two play for the title. Team Score breaks ties in the standings.
